uHey Limited ("us", "we", or "our") operates http://www.trailme.com.hk (the "Site"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the Site and our Mobile Application TRAILME included into our provided Services.

We are concerned with Your privacy, and We agree to maintain Your data in accordance Our obligations under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (“the Ordinance”) and as set out below. This Privacy Policy forms part of the Terms, and You agree to be bound by the Privacy Policy when You are bound by the Terms, and otherwise by accessing, viewing, downloading, or otherwise using the Site, Mobile Application or the Services or by registering with Us to use the Site, Mobile Application or Services. If You do not agree to the Privacy Policy - for example if You do not wish to provide the information identified below to Us and/or having such information otherwise used in any manner permitted in this Privacy Policy, You should not use the Services, Mobile Application or access the Site, and contact us with Your specific concerns by using one of the ways to contact Us as set out below.

All capitalized terms shall have the same meanings as set out in the Terms that are available through our website www.trailme.com.hk, unless otherwise defined herein.

We apply the following principles to protect Your privacy:

  • We will not share Your contact information with another user without Your consent.

1. Changes To This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of November, 05th, 2019 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.

2. Information collected

Input of data

When You are using our Site, register to use the Mobile Application and Service, You will be asked to input personal identifiable information about Yourself, including contact details. You willingly provide Us with the information that You are required to input, which We collect in order to allow You to benefit from the Service.

Payments made by You by credit card are processed by a third-party service provider. This provider may change from time to time, but it will be identified to You when You register Your account, or if the third-party service provider changes once You have registered Your account. The privacy policy of that third-party service provider is referred to on its website.

Client service

We may collect information through the Service in order to, among other things, accurately categorize and respond to any inquiry and deliver appropriate service levels.

Cookies

Like most websites, We use cookies and web log files to track Site usage. A cookie is a tiny data file which resides on Your computer which allows Us to recognize You as a user when You return to the Site using the same computer and web browser. The personal information that We collect will be used to better help provide You with the Service, to understand the needs of Our clients generally, and similar uses. We may provide this information to Our Affiliates for this purpose. Information provided to Us (or to third parties with whom We offer combined services) is also used to customize Your experience on the Site. We may store that information anywhere in the world and transfer it to another place in the world. However, when We do, We will abide by Our security commitment to You as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Legal Disclosure

We may access or disclose information about You in order to comply with the law or respond to lawful requests or the legal process of any country throughout the world with appropriate jurisdiction, or protect the rights or property of uHey Limited or Our clients, including the enforcement of Our agreements or policies governing Your use of the products or services. We may also access or disclose information about You if We are acting on a good faith belief that such access or disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of Our employees, clients or the public.

Disclosure to others

We may disclose Your personal and other information to another third party as part of a reorganization or the sale of uHey Limited, the assets of uHey Limited, or a majority shareholding thereof. Any third party to which We transfer or sell Our assets will have the right to continue to use the personal and other information that You provide to Us, to the extent that We have those rights.

4. Your Information choices

Accessing and changing Your account information

You can review the personal information that You provide to Us and make any desired changes to the information You publish, or to the settings for Your user’s account including Your email, and contact preferences, at any time by logging in to Your user’s account on the Site. If You have chosen that part of the Service that allows for more than one user, then the information can only be reviewed and changed by a person that You may nominate as being the administrator for Your account. Please note that even after Your request for a change is processed, We may, for a time, retain residual information about You in Our backup and/or archival copies of Our files.

Closing Your account

If You close Your account, We will remove Your name and other personally identifiable information from Our publicly viewable database (if applicable). We may retain certain data contributed by You if We believe that it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, or for legitimate business purposes, such as the analysis of aggregated, non-personally identifiable data, account recovery, or if required by law.

To ask that We close Your account or remove Your information from the Site, please send Your request to service@uhey.com.hk. Please send Your request using an email account that You have registered with Us under Your name. You will receive a response to requests sent within ten Business Days of receipt of the email.

5. Your obligations

The Site may facilitate communications between different users. You have certain obligations toward the other users with whom You may be communicating. Some of these obligations are imposed by applicable law and regulations, and others have become commonplace in user-friendly communities. In particular, You must, at all times, be mindful or and comply with the requirements of the Terms if and when You communicate with other users.

6. Security

In order to help to secure Your information, access to Your data on the Site is password-protected, and sensitive data is protected by encryption when it is exchanged between Your web browser and the Site. The secure area of the Site supports the use of 256-bit SSL encryption technology. We take reasonable precautions to protect Your security, for example We audit Our system for possible vulnerabilities and attacks, and the third parties that We engage to provide Cloud data storage facilities that have shown Us that they use 128-bit (or higher) SSL encryption technology. However, We cannot guarantee that Your information is secure.

It is Your responsibility to protect the security of Your login information. Please note that emails and instant messaging and similar means of communication are not encrypted, and We strongly suggest that You not to communicate any confidential information through these means.

7. Rights to access, correct and delete information about You

Under the Ordinance, You have a right to access, modify, correct and eliminate the personal data (as defined in the Ordinance) about You which has been collected pursuant to Your decision to use the Site and/or the Service. If You update any of Your personal data, We may keep a copy of the personal data which You originally provided to Us in archives.

We take Your rights seriously and encourage You to use them if You deem this to be appropriate. You may exercise the rights that You have under the Ordinance by emailing Us at service@uhey.com.hk. Please note that in accordance with the Ordinance, We are entitled to charge a fee to process data access and correction requests.

8. External websites

We may provide links to external websites and applications. If You access those websites and applications, You will leave the Site and visit that external website or application. We do not control those websites or applications. We have not necessarily considered any privacy policy or other important policies that they have. We do not endorse or make any representations about those external websites or applications. The information You choose to give to such third parties is not covered by Our Privacy Policy. You should read the privacy policy of any external website or application before providing personal data.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may change or update the Privacy Policy at any time by posting a revised version on the Site.

The updated Privacy Policy will become effective upon posting or, if We notify You by email, as stated in the email. The updated Privacy Policy applies to all use of the Site from the date that it appears on the Site. If You do not wish to be bound by the updated Privacy Policy or have Your information managed in accordance with that updated Privacy Policy, You must not use the Service or access the Site.
