The Country of Origin trail run is a team of three event along a 30km route on Lantau Island, aimed at bringing teams representing the same nationalities together for a great day out on the trails.

Rules have changed for the 2025 Event where the teams must represent and dress up as specific country, however runners do not need to be from that country.

Podium rankings and prizes are the top 3 fastest Male, Female and Mixed teams - any gender combination - no age categories.

There will also be a prizes for the best dressed which all teams can qualify! Your team must start, run and finish together, and fancy dress in national costume and/or colours is highly encouraged! All finishers will receive a COO finishers medal.

The finish line will be a buffet of amazing food (and of course beer), for you all to enjoy at the end of the race.
